Will has been a successful Wake County criminal defense attorney since 1991. He is a native of Wilson, North Carolina, was educated in the Wilson County public schools before attending and graduating from the University of North Carolina and the University of North Carolina School of Law.
After law school, he clerked at outstanding law firms in Wilson, Raleigh, Wilmington before serving as a law clerk for the North Carolina Court of Appeals. In 1989, Mr. Webb transitioned to working as an assistant district attorney in Harnett, Johnston, and Lee counties before branching out to open his criminal defense practice in 1991. In 1999, his father, the late John Webb, retired from his position as an Associate Justice of the North Carolina Supreme Court and practiced with Will for two years. Throughout his 30-year career, Mr. Webb has tried hundreds of cases, settled thousands, and built a solid reputation with judges, district attorneys, and court staff.
