Thom was a partner in a law firm, established his own law firm, Sylvester Law Office, P.C., in 1982, and beginning in 2000, served as Chief Executive Officer and Chief Legal Officer of a large Arizona corporation for ten years. In 2010, Thom returned to private practice at Sylvester Law Office, P.C.

In 2013, through Sylvester Law Office, P.C., Thom launched the Arizona Discount Legal Services website in the belief that experienced and effective legal representation can be provided efficiently and at more affordable rates without the overhead expenses of a brick and mortar large-staffed legal office. Today, Thom is still committed to providing his clients superior, experienced and effective legal representation at discounted rates.

Thom is the father of three daughters and one son, and “Papa Thom” to 10 grandchildren. He has been a resident of Arizona since 1969 when he came to Tucson from Pennsylvania to attend law school. Thom is a member of the Arizona Fraternal Association of Elks. He enjoys exercising, travel and golf as a member of Ventana Golf and Racquet Club in Tucson Arizona.
