Mark Brittain, a native of Atlanta, Georgia, was born in 1962. He graduated from Lakeside High School in 1980, earned a Bachelor of Business Administration from Georgia State University in 1984, and received his Juris Doctor from Cumberland Law School at Samford University in 1987. He began practicing law in Henry County, Georgia, in 1988 and continues to represent many of his original clients.

As a general practice attorney, Mark serves individuals from all walks of life. He has handled numerous personal injury cases, particularly those involving car accidents and negligence. He is also highly experienced in real estate law, having completed thousands of transactions. Mark enjoys working in probate law and has served as the executor or personal representative for hundreds of estates.

An accomplished trial attorney, Mark has litigated cases that have influenced Georgia law, with some decisions being reported and cited in future legal rulings. He is a member of the American Bar Association, the State Bar of Georgia, and the Henry County Bar Association. He is licensed to practice in all Georgia Superior Courts, the Georgia Court of Appeals, the Georgia Supreme Court, and the United States District Court for the Northern District of Georgia.

In addition to his legal career, Mark co-founded American Community Bank, later acquired by First National Bank of Griffin. He served on its Board of Directors until 2009. His banking experience gives him valuable insight into lender-borrower relationships.

Mark has been married to Connie Cantrell Brittain for 26 years. Connie, a former Delta Airlines flight attendant, is a homemaker and gymnastics instructor. Together, they have four daughters: Jackie, a sports reporter for the New England Patriots; Jamie, a law student; Jordan, an education student; and Jenae, a high school student.
