He is licensed to practice in the highest Court in both New Jersey, and Pennsylvania. He is also licensed in the Federal District Courts of both states. And he has made several arguments before the Superior and Supreme Courts of Pennsylvania.
His educations started with a Degree in Communications from Glassboro State College (Now Rowan University)where he specialized in journalism where he learned and became proficient in practicing skills he decided law was his true calling. Knowing the skills learned in communication and journalism would greatly help him in interacting with people and better preparing a case after several years of working for Local newspapers, he decided to return school and obtained his Jurist Doctorate.
He obtained his Jurist Doctorate in 2000 from the Widener University School of Law and appeared on the Dean’s list. While in Law School, he clerked for one of Philadelphia’s premier boutique personal injury law firm of Galerman & Tabakin. After graduation, he worked with Solo Practitioner, Robert N. Dellavella. Later he becoming and associate the law firm being renamed Dellavella & Associates, who practiced in the areas of Criminal, Civil Wills and Trusts representing the people of Northeast Philadelphia.
Local politics have always been of interest for Mr. Di Matteo, especially in how the politics of today are driven by the laws of yesteryear. He continues to be involved in politics in, local town’s politics and frequently involved in the youth sports, coaches his sons in baseball, basketball, and hockey, and also is certified as a high school baseball Umpire and Basket Ball referee.
