Firm Summary
Richard Casey is the founding attorney of Robinson & Casey, a law firm dedicated to helping his clients protect their families, business interests, and assets. He has been admitted to practice law in Florida since November 2018 and in the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida since December 2019.
Richard Casey is dedicated to using the law, his business background, and government advocacy experience to help his clients improve the quality of life for themselves and their family. He focuses on using the Marchman Act to help families access lifesaving drug and alcohol treatment; developing estate plans to protect his clients family, business interests, and assets; and providing legal, government advocacy, and consulting services to behavioral healthcare professionals and facilities to improve their business operations and quality of care.
Before founding Robinson & Casey, Richard Casey spent over 3 years working at Caron Treatment Centers, one of the largest not-for-profit addiction and behavioral health treatment providers in the United States. While at Caron Treatment Centers, Richard worked to guide the organization through a changing regulatory environment, analyzing and improving its clinical and business operations, and advocating for more effective government accountability. Richard Casey also represented Caron Treatment Centers as a panel member of the Palm Beach County Sober Home Task Force starting in December 2017 and he continues to advocate for greater oversight and improved access to substance use and behavioral health treatment.
Additionally, Richard Casey has experience litigating criminal and business disputes, including in the State of Florida v. Roberto Isaac, where he was co-defense counsel at trial for Roberto Isaac, a defendant in the Presidente Supermarket murder for hire case in Miami.
In loving memory of my father, Richard J. Casey Jr., a percentage of all proceeds from my work goes to benefit the Richard J. Casey Jr. Memorial Scholarship Fund at Caron Treatment Centers.
