Randall later attended the University of Idaho, where in December 2001 he received his Juris Doctorate. He started practicing law in Idaho and Washington after being admitted to both the Idaho and Washington State Bar Associations in 2000. He practiced law in Boise for seven years before relocating to Coeur d’Alene. He also co-authored an article for a national business magazine highlighting Idaho mechanic’s lien law.
