Before joining Bass Law, Gabe served as an active duty U.S. Marine and continues to serve as a lieutenant colonel in the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve. Gabe’s military background includes graduating from the U.S. Marine Corps Command and Staff College and the U.S. Air Force Air War College. He has received distinguished military decorations, including the Meritorious Service Medal, Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal with a combat distinguishing device, and the Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal.
Gabe’s educational background is equally impressive. He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration (Finance and Accounting) with Academic Distinction from the University of Oklahoma, earned in 1998. In 2003, he obtained a Master of Science degree in Information Systems from the same institution. Gabe then pursued his Juris Doctor degree with Honors from the University of Oklahoma College of Law, further enhancing his legal knowledge and skills.
As for his legal admissions, Gabe is admitted to practice in all Oklahoma and Texas Trial and Appellate Courts, as well as the United States Supreme Court, the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Oklahoma, the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Oklahoma, the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Western District of Oklahoma, and the Navy-Marine Corps Trial Judiciary for the Western Circuit.
Gabe actively participates in various professional memberships, including the American Bar Association, where he served as the Vice-Chair of the TIPS Trial Techniques Committee from 2008 to 2011 and completed the TIPS Leadership Academy in 2008. He is also a member of the Oklahoma Bar Association, where he served as a Trustee for the Oklahoma Bar Foundation from 2010 to 2016 and contributed to committees such as the Technology Task Force and Military Assistance Task Force. Gabe has held positions in multiple bar associations and legal organizations, including serving as President of the Canadian County Bar Association in 2010.

He has served as an Adjunct Professor at the Oklahoma City University School of Law, teaching Business Planning in the spring of 2014.
