She graduated with highest honors from Georgia Southern University in Speech Communications, before going on to complete her Juris Doctor at Western Michigan University, Cooley Law School in December 2009.

In 2010 she began working as Assistant Solicitor General for the Gwinnett County Solicitor’s Office, where she spent over 5 years gaining extensive trial experience. In 2015 she left county government to start her own law practice servicing Metro Atlanta. Since 2015, Latawsha has tailored her practice to mainly focus on civil case law, including contracts, child custody, Wills and Probate.

In her spare time, Latawsha enjoys traveling and spending quality time with family and friends.
