In 1999, Kathryn wanted to go out on her own and started her law practice in Canton, Michigan. After 11 years there, she moved her office to Howell, MI and eventually landed in Milford in 2013. Her office practices family law, real estate, probate, and other areas of law. She has lots of certifications, which makes her always up to date on the areas of law that she practices. Unlike the State bar of Michigan, her license requirements in Wisconsin ensure she has continuing legal education. She does this in Michigan and in Wisconsin to stay current on the law.

Kathryn is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin Eau Claire. She attended Law school at Oklahoma City University. Kathryn has a broad overview of many areas of the law. Her first job was with the Oklahoma Department of Labor. Upon moving to Michigan, she worked in firms handling personal injury, criminal, family, probate and reals estate law.

Kathryn is married, has 2 adult children, and her 2 beloved dogs. In her free time, she likes to hike, backpack, do watersports, read and travel. Her favorite places to travel have been Hawaii, Disney and hiking the Appalachian trail. Kathryn can be heard saying, “Life is such an adventure”.
