Firm Summary

Jordon founded Aragon Moss George Jenkins, LLP (formerly Moss George, LLP) after spending several years at a preeminent Albuquerque firm and gaining invaluable experience in various complex and high-profile matters. Jordon has practiced in state and federal courts and represented clients in arbitrations, administrative proceedings, and appeals. Jordon has represented individuals, local and national corporations, and numerous government entities in litigation involving business, land use, real estate, civil rights, and environmental law. Additionally, Jordon has a broad range of experience in estate planning and probate litigation, criminal and DWI defense, as well as general business and municipal representation.

Jordon, a problem-solver by nature, employs an analytical and results-driven approach to developing creative solutions to novel and complex legal issues. As a litigator in both state and federal court, Jordon has worked on numerous high-profile cases, including representing the State of New Mexico in federal Multi-District Litigation concerning environmental claims against the federal government, representing the county government in a flood of litigation and appeals relating to zoning approvals of a large-scale master-planned development; representing county government in a class-action suit in federal court concerning inmate rights and representing a publicly traded company in litigation involving claims of business defamation and trade libel. Jordon has also represented local governments across the state in litigation concerning various matters such as property tax disputes, eminent domain, and civil rights claims pursuant to 42 USC Section 1983 and the New Mexico Tort Claims Act and has represented both local and national businesses in consumer protection and trademark infringement litigation.

Jordon also has considerable experience providing general representation to businesses and local governments (counties, cities, and special purpose districts). Jordon works with business clients on most types of general business matters, including entity formation and structuring, commercial transactions, purchases and leases of real estate, asset purchase agreements, shareholder and ownership agreements, employment and non-compete agreements, and other types of business contracts. Jordon’s work with government clients includes preparing ordinances and resolutions, attending public meetings, negotiating contracts, advising on issues related to land use, property disposition, contract procurement, public records, gross receipts taxes, telecommunications, pending and threatened litigation, and other matters associated with conducting government affairs.

Jordon also dedicates a significant portion of his practice to representing individuals in “real life” matters such as estate planning, criminal defense, and family law. Jordon is passionate about working with individuals and families on all aspects of their estate planning and probate matters. Realizing that no client or family is the same as another and that every situation requires a unique and personalized solution, Jordon takes the time to uncover each client’s unique circumstances. Always striving for your ideal outcome, Jordon is also an experienced criminal defense and family law attorney who treats every situation as unique and works with clients to find the best and most efficient solutions for their legal needs.

Jordon is a 2015 University of New Mexico School of Law graduate. He is a proud father to a brilliant 4-year-old girl, and a menacing 2-year-old boy and a devoted husband to a brilliant and menacing wife. He is also an intermittent weightlifter and basketball person who enjoys community engagement and “reading and stuff” in his spare time.
