Upon completing my undergraduate degree at Claremont McKenna College, I decided to pursue a law degree at The University of California – Davis School of Law. After gaining an understanding of the varying needs of clients through my education and experience working for other law firms, I wanted to be able to practice law in the areas I enjoyed the most. This is what led me to open my own practice in 1984, and what I still love about it today.

At Katz Business Law, I provide personalized legal support and counsel to clients seeking assistance in business law, civil litigation, estate planning, and employment law. I am constantly staying on top of employment and business/corporation law to ensure legal compliance and to provide the most up-to-date information to my clients.

My inspiration for practicing law came from Ralph Nader, who was a lone voice against corporations that treat people poorly. I wanted to follow in his footsteps and help those in need.

The client-attorney relationship is just as important as understanding the details and nature of a case. In terms of my professional credentials, I was admitted to the California State Bar in 1979 and am a member of the US Eastern District California. I received my law degree from The University of California – Davis School of Law in 1979 and completed my undergraduate studies at Claremont McKenna College in 1976.
