Elizabeth A. Roland was born in Florence, Alabama. She attended Auburn University and graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of North Alabama. She was introduced to the legal field while working for Gorman Jones, Gene Hamby, Jr., and Judge Robert Baker while living in Sheffield, Alabama.
In 1990 she received her Juris Doctorate degree from The Birmingham School of Law. Since that time Elizabeth has served her clients in a general practice law firm.
She served on the Greater Shelby County Chamber of Commerce Board and the Retired and Senior Volunteer Program Board for several years. She is active in the Alabaster-Pelham Rotary Club, the Shelby Women’s League, and the Shelby County, Jefferson County and Alabama State Bar Associations and a member of the Pelham Library Guild.
Elizabeth is an avid reader and enjoys gardening and horseback riding. She also enjoys restoring furniture and decor for her various vendor booth spaces in antique stores in the area.
Elizabeth and her husband, David Lewis, are members of Hunter Street Baptist Church in Hoover, Alabama. They have 4 children and 12 grandchildren.
