Douglas Kwitek grew up in Canon City, Colorado, where he attended Canon City High School and graduated with the class of 1986.  In high school, Doug worked as a cartographer for the Fremont County Abstract and Title Company.  He continued that education in his undergraduate studies when he worked for a County Land Surveyor.  He graduated from the University of Colorado, Boulder  in 1990.  Thereafter he attended law school at the University of Wyoming, College of Law.  During law school, Doug worked during his summers with the 11th Judicial District, District Attorney’s office in Canon City.

After graduation from law school in 1993 and passing the bar exam, Doug opened his own practice in Canon City and handled all types of criminal and traffic defense / domestic relations matters.  He later took a job in Pueblo with Banner & Enck, the predecessor law firm to Kwitek McMillan, PC.  He and his wife Kristi have lived in the Pueblo community for over 26 years, where they raised two children.

Doug’s practice areas include estate planning, probate, contracts, real estate, business and corporate matters; including litigation.
