Cori A. Robinson is a graduate of the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law. She received her B.A. from Brandeis University with High Honors in Theatre Arts. Cori also holds a Masters of Arts in Theatre Theory, History and Criticism from City University of New York, Hunter College, where she was a Vera Roberts Fellow.
She is a proud graduate of Staten Island Technical High School.
Admitted to the New York and New Jersey bars, Cori is eligible to serve as a fiduciary under Part 36 of the Rules of the Chief Judge of the State of New York and is consistently selected to serve as guardian, court evaluator, and counsel to the Alleged Incapacitated Person in Article 81 Supreme Court matters in addition to serving as a Guardian ad litem in Surrogate’s Court proceedings.
Cori is a columnist for ABOVE THE LAW writing about her experiences in trusts and estates and as a small firm practitioner. She also serves as a Vice President of the Board of Trustees for Ben Porat Yosef, a day school in Bergen County, New Jersey where she is also the Chairperson of the Legal Committee. She frequently lectures and appears on pod casts discussing issues pertaining to guardianship law, trusts and estates and elder law .
Cori represents clients throughout the five boroughs, Nassau, Suffolk, Westchester, Dutchess and Rockland Counties in addition to clients throughout the State of New Jersey. She is a member of the New York State Bar Association and the
National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys.
