She holds a Jurist Doctorate in Law from Brooklyn Law School from 1985. Ms. Spirio received her Bachelors’ Degree in Social Work from West Chester University in Pennsylvania. Ms. Spirio has been practicing law since 1987 and formed her own firm in 1996.
She is admitted in both the State and Federal (Southern and Eastern Districts) Courts in the State of New York. Ms. Spirio has been providing passionate and aggressive legal representation for over twenty-six years. She has extensive experience as a Civil and Commercial lawyer in areas such as LGBT and real estate, as well as most types of litigation. She has practiced in all courts in the downstate areas, including the counties of New York, Richmond, Brooklyn, Queens, Bronx, Westchester, Suffolk and Nassau County.

Ms. Spirio is a member of the New York State Bar Association, Nassau County Bar Association, Suffolk County Bar Association, LEGAL- The LGBT Bar Association of Greater New York, as well as the Collaborative Law Association of New York, Inc. Since 1997 Ms. Spirio has served as an Arbitrator for the Nassau County District Courts. Ms. Spirio has also handled Appeals and argued cases before the New York State Appellate Division.
