Bryan Thompson is the owner and founder of Rod of Iron Estate Planning and Litigation. Prior to becoming a licensed attorney, he was a member of the U.S. Coast Guard, law enforcement, and port operations. He earned a Doctor of Jurisprudence (J.D.) from Golden Gate University School of Law in 2016 with a concentration in Family Law, Alternative Dispute Resolution, and Mediation.

He served as Vice President of his class and publishes articles covering a myriad of issues on Estate Law. He has advocated in numerous court proceedings and mediation sessions. Bryan is an avid motorcyclist and lives in the San Francisco Bay Area with his wife and young daughter. Bryan’s practice covers a wide range of estate law issues such as estate planning, powers of attorney, guardianships, wills, trusts, advanced health care directives, Medicare planning, and contested matters.
