Many probate issues involve heirs living out of state or out of the country, as well as deployed military persons. There are also legal challenges that arise because of guardianship issues for long-distance family members. When clients are unable to be present, our office can attend hearings on their behalf. We can simplify the paperwork and communicate via e-mail or phone to settle an estate or a guardianship issue in the most timely and cost-effective manner.
Administrative Support
At The Law Office of Brian W. Hurd, our trusted administrative and paralegal staff is experienced, knowledgeable, and accommodating to our clients’ needs. We are privileged to have Mary Tibbetts as our paralegal. With more than 25 years of experience, she is adept at conducting research, drafting court documents, and communicating with clients. Our Administrative Secretary, Anne Moran, has been with The Law Office of Brian W. Hurd since its inception in 2009. She performs a range of duties, effectively and efficiently to assist with our day-to-day operations.
Community Involvement
The Law Office of Brian W. Hurd supports community projects and causes. As active community members, we enjoy sponsoring various private sports organizations, such as travel baseball teams. Mr. Hurd is the past President of the Merritt Island Little League. He is actively involved in local school activities for Edgewood Jr./Sr. High School and Jefferson Middle School. Our law office supports and participates in local Golf Tournaments, including for Avery’s Light (AverysLight.com), a charitable organization for Sudden Infant Death Syndrome.
