BONNIE SMITH MOSES is the Supervising Attorney of Dessen, Moses & Rossitto. She has a Masters of Law degree in Taxation,which she obtained at the Temple University School of Law. She received her Juris Doctorate degree from that institution as well. She received her Bachelor of Psychology degree from the Pennsylvania State University. She was admitted to the Bar of the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania in 1978.

She is also admitted to practice in the United States Supreme Court, the United States Tax Court,the Third Circuit Court of Appeals and the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania. She is a member of the Montgomery County Bar Association and a Life Fellow of the Pennsylvania Bar Foundation. Mrs. Moses is also a member of the American Prepaid Legal Services Institute. She has chaired the API’s national educational Conference Committee since 2000.

Bonnie has been recognized as a “Pennsylvania Super Lawyer.” She is a member of the Phi Beta Kappa and Phi Kappa Phi honor societies and was on the staff of Temple Law Review. She is a previous member of the Temple Women’s Law Network. She is a former law clerk to the Honorable Lois G. Forer of the Philadelphia Court of Common Pleas. She was an adjunct professor teaching Business Law and the Legal Environment of Business at Arcadia University (formerly Beaver College) from 1982 through 2008.

She was actively involved in Girls Inc. of Greater Philadelphia and Southern New Jersey as Vice-President, a member of the Board of Directors from 1996 to 2000, Chair of the Personnel Committee (1999 – 2007), a member of the Executive Committee, a member of the Leadership Committee and a member of the Board Development Committee. She has also been a member of the Advisory Board of the Philadelphia Jewish Archives Center (Vice-President, 2001 – 2008), Secretary, Chair of the Nominating Committee, 1998 – 2006, Member Executive Committee), a former member of the Strategic Planning/Visioning Committee for the Jewish Heritage program, a former member of the Executive Committee for Leadership Council of the Philadelphia Volunteer Lawyers for the Arts, and a former volunteer for the American Heart Association. She is a life member in the Rydal-Meadowbrook Civic Association and a member of the National Council of Jewish Women, Montgomery/Philadelphia chapter. In addition, she has been a volunteer attorney for the Philadelphia Volunteers for the Indigent Program.

She has served as a mentor to first-year law students for the Women’s Law Caucus, Temple Law School, and has participated in various other community activities, including the American Association of University Women and the National Association of Female Executives. She has contributed articles to various law publications and has spoken at conferences regarding ways to maintain and improve quality of legal services, by increasing productivity and by advancing the technological development of law office computerization. She is named in numerous volumes of “Who’s Who.” She is available on a consultation basis to advise attorneys and law firms servicing prepaid and group legal plans, as well as unions and other groups that are interested in organizing legal plans for their membership. She has represented group and prepaid legal service plan clients since 1979. She maintains a practice in Wills, Probate, and Real Estate at the firm’s Willow Grove, Pennsylvania office.
