Andrew Dickman, a native of Tampa, Florida, has cultivated a diverse and impactful career in law and urban planning. His academic journey began at Santa Fe Community College and led him to the University of Florida, where he earned his bachelor’s degree and his master’s degree in urban and regional planning.

Andrew’s professional path is notable for his work in growth management at the North Central Florida Regional Planning Council and his expertise in geographic information systems at the St. Johns River Water Management District. He continued in his commitment to public service as he planned for children and families and anti-poverty programs in Miami as a state employee.

While serving the Department of Children and Families (DCF), Andrew pursued his legal education at Nova Southeastern Shepard Broad Law Center’s evening division. He was admitted to the Florida Bar in 2000, marking the beginning of his legal practice.

In 2002, Mr. Dickman founded the Dickman Law Firm as a solo practitioner in Miami, Florida. His firm has since expanded and relocated its main office to Naples, Florida, reflecting its decades of growth and success.

Today, Mr. Dickman’s legal acumen is recognized through his roles as the City Attorney for the City of Tarpon Springs, Assistant City Attorney for the City of Naples, and a Hearing Examiner for Collier County. He also served as the City Attorney for the City of St. Pete Beach for ten years. His dedication to the community also extends to his board membership with 1000 Friends of Florida, where he contributes to shaping a sustainable future of growth and development for the state.
