Firm Summary
Aaron is a Blackstone Fellow with the Alliance Defending Freedom, a former Ronald W. Reagan Fellow at Eureka College, and the founding attorney at Pilcher Law Firm. Aaron focuses his practice on business law, estate matters, family law and general litigation.
Aaron is an original member of the Beadle County Drug Court, serving as its defense attorney consultant. Drug Court is part of a larger statewide system of problem solving courts designed to help individuals identified as “high risk / high need.” Once sentenced to drug court, completion of the program becomes a necessary component of their probation. The program is changing lives, improving the community, and Aaron is proud to be a part of it.
In 2020, Aaron recognized a lack of safe housing opportunities for individuals seeking recovery from addiction. In 2020, Aaron volunteered with five (5) other individuals to start Hope House, a non-profit sober living community in Huron. Aaron stepped aside when the home became operational.
Before practicing law, Aaron directed a statewide political campaign for the U.S. Senate. He oversaw fundraising and campaign finance matters, communications and media strategy, scheduling and event planning, GOTV (get-out-the-vote), and other emergent needs.
Aaron grew up on a hobby farm in Southern Minnesota, where he participated in sports and other activities. Aaron received his bachelors degree from Eureka College, and his law degree from the Knutson School of Law at the University of South Dakota.
Aaron lives in Huron with his wife and their three children.
