Aaron is a founding partner of Vella, Carbone and Associates, LLP. He is proud of his roots in upstate New York having received his Bachelor’s Degrees from Hartwick College in Oneonta, NY in 2003. After working in the New York State Senate, he went on to graduate Cum Laude from Albany Law School in 2008 earning numerous honors. Since being admitted to the bar, Aaron has gone on to earn the respect and esteem amongst his peers and the community.
Aaron’s legal practice includes assisting families with, estate administration, along with estate planning and asset protection to preserve his client’s legacies. He also specializes in guardianship. He particularly enjoys working with families to protect our most vulnerable loved ones and assisting those with special needs or disability to receive the necessary protections under law.
Aaron also has extensive experience as an estate and civil litigator. Having been involved in numerous Will contests, Trust dissolutions, accountings and other special estate proceedings, he has a comprehensive and unique understanding of this area of law. Aaron also assists his clients in personal injury cases and with other civil litigation needs.
Aaron recognizes the sensitivities that often accompany his areas of practice, allowing him to provide clients both insightful counsel and determined advocacy. Aaron is a problem-solver by nature with a creative approach to legal advocacy. Drawing from his litigation background, he is also exceptionally qualified to represent families through their most difficult ordeals and planning needs.
Outside of his law practice, Aaron regularly presents to various public and private organizations on topics including, estate planning, asset protection, advanced directives and guardianship. He has also presented at continuing legal education seminars sponsored by the NYS Bar Association.
Aaron participated in a focus group for the NYS Access to Justice Committee, by serving as a panel member for the Modest Means subcommittee, which focused on providing legal services to low and modest means individuals locally and throughout the State requiring assistance and counsel with estate administration. Aaron is also a Member of the Board of Directors of Lifepath, (formerly Albany County Senior Services) and serves on its Finance Committee.
