Originally from Havana, Cuba, Niuris grew up in Miami, Florida, where she first took an interest in the legal profession after a forensic psychology course in college. Niuris graduated with her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Florida International University. She then graduated from the Florida International University College of Law, making her a double panther.

During law school, Niuris clerked with the Administrative Judge for the Eleventh Judicial Circuit’s Probate Division. Giving her first-hand experience and behind the scenes knowledge of the probate process. Niuris was also the President of the Negotiation and Mediation Team. She was also a member of the Moot Court Team, and was a recipient of the Dean’s Scholarship, was placed on the Dean’s list for various semesters, and earned Pro Bono Commendations.

Niuris has been in the EPGD family through law school, first starting in her 3L year of law school. Niuris is fluent in Spanish and is a member in good standing with the Florida Bar.

On a personal note: Niuris recently became a mom to a beautiful one year old, Owen. She also enjoys traveling and trying new foods!
