Joseph Coluccio was born and raised on Long Island, New York. In 1993, he received his Bachelors Degree in Political Science from The State University of New York at Stony Brook. After working in finance for the next few years, he attended Touro Law School and graduated with his Juris Doctor in 2002. He was admitted to the New York State Bar in 2003. Mr. Coluccio was then employed as an Assistant District Attorney from 2002-2005 under the Honorable Denis Dillon. Thereafter, from 2005-2015, Mr. Coluccio was in private practice in New York. His practice areas consisted of criminal defense, personal injury and car accidents, medical malpractice, probate litigation, guardianship litigation and wills, trusts and estate planning. Mr. Coluccio is a well-known and highly recognized trial attorney who has litigated and tried many civil and criminal cases before juries with great success.

In 2015, he relocated to Florida.

After passing the Florida Bar Exam, he was admitted to practice law in the State of Florida in September 2018. He worked for a few months at The Public Defender’s office for the Eighteenth Judicial Circuit in Brevard County, where he successfully tried multiple criminal cases with great success. He opened his solo practice in January 2019. His main office is located in Brevard County, Florida, in the Melbourne/ Suntree area, but he remains active handling cases in New York and Florida. The New York office is located in Rockville Centre, New York. Although his main office is in Brevard County, Mr. Coluccio handles certain cases in all 67 counties in Florida.

In Florida, Mr. Coluccio focuses his practice on Estate Planning, Wills and Trusts, Probate and Probate litigation, Guardianship and contested Guardianship, Car Accidents and Personal Injury, Wrongful Death and Medical Malpractice Litigation. Mr. Coluccio has tried multiple cases to verdict with great success in the courts of Florida as well. At present, Mr. Coluccio has been retained to represent clients throughout all of the 67 counties in the State of Florida in contested guardianship cases and probate litigation.
