In 2010, he became the deputy director of the Summit County Board of Elections and subsequently served as its director until 2012. Throughout his tenure, Ron actively participated in the Akron Bar Association, contributing his expertise as the chairman of the Probate Law Section, Municipal Court, and Fee Arbitration Committees. Ron’s personal life is equally rich and fulfilling. He is happily married to Susan and is the proud father of three children and grandfather to five grandchildren. Ron’s faith plays a central role in his life, as he is an active member of Christ Community Chapel in Hudson. In addition to his church involvement, Ron serves as a trustee of the Ohio Christian Alliance and is a member of the Akron South Gideons, further demonstrating his deep-rooted commitment to his community and his faith.

Despite his demanding schedule, Ron finds time to pursue his personal interests and hobbies. He is an avid sports enthusiast, faithfully following the Browns, Indians, Cavs, Zips, and Buckeyes. Ron also finds solace in nature, enjoying gardening, bicycle riding, and the tranquility of the beach.
