Before Joel became a lawyer, he was a musician – but school was never far from his mind. Originally he thought he would end up in entertainment law (a perfect fit, you’d think, since he was a musician), but the world of estate planning and litigation grabbed his attention.

The world of wills, trusts, and probate offers a unique opportunity to help people – often, families and loved ones who are at their most stressed during this process. A History of Law
Prior to becoming an attorney, Joel still managed to stay close to the law. In the 90s, he went to work for Peter Linden, an estate planning and probate administration attorney in Southern California. It was here that he found his calling and took the leap to go to law school at Western State University College of Law, where he graduated in 1996. Joel officially began practicing as a lawyer in 2002 and hasn’t stopped helping people since.

For Joel, interacting with his clients is one of his favorite parts of the job. He knows from firsthand experience what it’s like to lose a loved one, so he knows what his clients are going through. Whether he’s needed after hours, on a weekend, or is asked to make a house call, Joel goes above and beyond to make sure his clients feel cared for.

With a strong standing in the legal community both in Orange County and throughout southern California, Joel has the skills and reputation to handle your case both in and out of the courtroom. He’s not afraid to take the battle to court if he has to, but if it’s better for the family to settle without litigation, he always does what’s best for the client.

When he’s not valiantly representing his client’s needs and concerns, Joel still records his own music, keeping his musical background going strong. A self-proclaimed workaholic, though, Joel’s clients are never far from his mind.
