For over a decade I have focused on estate planning and family law. My interest in law started early and grew from a desire to help others navigate the legal system. After graduating law school in 2007, I started my own law practice right here in Monticello.

My passion is guiding clients through the legal process with common sense and compassion.
Recognizing that every client has different needs, I strive to understand each client’s concerns. I take the time to explain the process and your options. Estate planning clients are provided with a comprehensive plan that will protect their wishes and family for years to come. Family law clients receive a thorough education on the process as we work hard to reach a satisfactory resolution without unnecessary conflict. My goal is to make the legal experience as comfortable as possible for each of my clients.

I reside in Monticello, Minnesota with my husband, two young sons, and our two dogs. To me, the importance of family is more than a business motto; it is a way of life. I maintain a flexible schedule to maximize time with my sons and family. With my flexible schedule I am able to accommodate my clients’ scheduling needs.

In addition to spending time with my family, I enjoy being involved in the local community. I have been a member of the Monticello Women of Today since 2008 and have held several local chapter board positions. Since 2015 I have been active with the Parent Teacher Organizations at my children’s schools. In 2017 I was elected to the Monticello School Board, a position I am honored to have.
