Mr. Hoppers, a principal of the firm, concentrates in planning and execution of business transactions, organization of professional practices and business formation. He also works extensively in estate planning, probate matters and state receivership law. He has served as hearing officer for the Ohio State Dental Board, the Ohio State Medical Board and has been rated A-V by the Martindale-Hubbell rating of attorney performance.
Mr. Hoppers is a member of the Ohio and Columbus Bar Associations and The CBA Foundation, admitted to practice in the Courts of Ohio, the Federal District Court, and the United States Supreme Court. He is active in Church and community service organizations, including Columbus Downtown Rotary, and has served on several Boards of Trustees. Currently he serves on the Board of Methodist Elder Care. He served four years as Ohio State Chairman for ESGR, (Employer Support of the Guard and Reserves), a volunteer agency of the U.S. Department of Defense created to assist Guardsmen and Reservists in dealing with employers and preventing employment issues resulting from deployment. Mr. Hoppers received the Secretary of Defense Lifetime Achievement Award for his services to ESGR.
Mr. Hoppers has been a lecturer and adjunct at the Ohio State University School of Dentistry and Capital Law School, lecturing in the fields of business law and tax. He currently serves as a member of the Advisory Council to the College of Liberal Arts at West Liberty University.
