Firm Summary

At the age of eight, Paul Rabalais’ maternal grandmother died leaving Paul and the rest of her grandchildren shares of stock as an inheritance. Paul took advantage of that inheritance to earn his undergraduate degree in Finance and his law degree from Louisiana State University. Then, in 1991, because of the structured inheritance from his grandmother, Mr. Rabalais earned his Masters in Tax Law from Boston University Law School.

At the age of 10, Paul Rabalais recalls moving his paternal grandparents into a nursing home, where their meager estate was depleted due to nursing home costs. Mr. Rabalais says that perhaps these family experiences lead him to spend his professional life helping families put and maintain a comprehensive estate planning program in order.

Early in his legal career, Paul Rabalais worked as an attorney for three large law firms in the areas of estate planning. In 1995, Mr. Rabalais decided that the traditional law firm model was not for him so he embarked on his own estate planning law practice. For more than 20 years, Mr. Rabalais developed customized and comprehensive client service and client attraction systems that are used in his law firm – Rabalais Law. Paul Rabalais has given hundreds of live, public, educational seminars, authored a book (Estate Planning in Louisiana), and served thousands of estate planning client families. Paul Rabalais continues to look forward to further building an untraditional law firm business which improves the lives of families, and sharing those business-building strategies with like-minded attorneys so they can improve the lives and relationships of families across America.
