Mr. Dailey is a life-long resident of Easton, Mass., and graduated from Thayer Academy in 1962. Following his graduation from the University of Vermont in 1966, Mr. Dailey worked for Riegel Paper Corp. in New York and completed their Executive Sales Training Program prior to entering active duty. Captain Dailey served from 1966 through 1970 in the U.S. Army, Military Intelligence Branch as an interrogation and order of a battle officer. He served as an intelligence officer for the 1st Infantry Division and II Field Force Headquarters in Vietnam. After leaving the military and while attending law school and beginning his law practice, he served for eight years as Executive Director of the Easton Housing Authority, managing the planning, construction, purchase, and management of various housing programs. He also served two terms as President of the Blackstone Valley Association of Housing Officials and served on the Board of Directors of Mass. Chapter of the National Association of Housing and Redevelopment Officials.
To begin his law practice, Mr. Dailey began preparing income taxes for his clients and these clients came to rely upon him to service their varying legal needs whether in the realm of real estate, zoning, estate planning, Medicaid planning, or business planning, development, and litigation.. To this day he continues to personally prepare income tax returns for hundreds of clients.
Mr. Dailey served as Town Moderator for the Town of Easton for over 30 years. He has served on the boards of directors of various organizations including service as President of the West Bridgewater Business Association; as counsel and director of the American Camp Association, New England Section; and as director and counsel for Waziyatah Inc. (a children’s camp in Waterford, Maine).
Mr. Dailey is currently a director for the Bank of Easton; Vice-President of Bridgton Highlands Country Club (Bridgton, ME); and a director of Brockton Interfaith Council – Nehemiah project.
Mr. Dailey is the managing proprietor of Dailey & Associates and concentrates his practice on tax preparation and planning, estate planning, real estate, zoning, business and employment law, and litigation support and strategy consulting. Boston Magazine recognized him as a Five Star Wealth Manager in both 2010 and 2011 for his work in estate and tax planning.
