Mr. Michener was raised in West Chester, Pennsylvania and graduated from Salesianum High School in 2002, whereupon he started his undergraduate career at Johns Hopkins University later transferring to Northeastern University, where he graduated magna cum laude as an English Major in 2009. He continued onto Northeastern University School of Law, graduating in 2012. While in law school, he held co-op positions with the Honorable Geraldine Hines of the Suffolk County, Massachusetts Superior Court, the Drug Policy Alliance’s Office of Legal Affairs in Berkeley, California, Massachusetts State Senator Karen Spilka, and a prominent solo practitioner in the Boston suburbs.
Upon graduating from law school, Mr. Michener returned to Pennsylvania and began working at a boutique Chester County law firm specializing in federal wage and hour class action lawsuits. Following his admittance to the Pennsylvania Bar in 2014, he held positions at JPMorgan Chase, Morgan, Lewis & Bockius, KMKM Law Group, and Rick Linn. While at Rick Linn, Mr. Michener developed his practice of Family Law, Estate Planning, Criminal Defense and Intellectual Property. Mr. Michener practices in Berks, Bucks, Chester, Delaware, and Montgomery Counties.
Mr. Michener conducts a monthly legal clinic and community outreach program at the Phoenixville Public Library and works with the Pro Bono Section of the Berks County Bar Association. Mr. Michener is licensed to practice law in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and is a member of the Pennsylvania Bar Association, Berks County Bar Association, and several Intellectual Property Law
