Jonathan L. Piper has been practicing as an attorney since 2003. He was born and raised in Southern California, but came to San Francisco to attend college. He completed his Bachelor of Arts degree from San Francisco State University in 2001, and enrolled at New College of California, School of Law, in San Francisco that same year. While in law school, Jonathan worked at the San Francisco Public Defender’s Office. He also completed an internship at the Office of the State Public Defender where he worked on a death penalty appeal. In 2002, Jonathan graduated from law school and went to work as a law clerk with the Law Offices of Arthur C. Lipton. He remained there after receiving his license in 2003, and in January of 2004 Jonathan and Arthur Lipton opened the Law Offices of Lipton & Piper. At Lipton & Piper, Jonathan primarily supervises the personal injury, estate planning and business areas, but he also assists with the firm’s criminal defense practice. In addition to being an attorney, he is a licensed Real Estate broker.
