Born in Portland and raised in Clackamas, Ms. Moneyhun is an Oregonian through and through. Ms. Moneyhun attained her Bachelor’s degree from the University of Oregon, in Eugene, Oregon, and her Doctorate of Jurisprudence from Willamette University College of Law, in Salem, Oregon.
Ms. Moneyhun began her career as a judicial clerk at the Multnomah County Courthouse clerking for Judge Dale Koch and Judge Karen Immergut. After clerking Ms. Moneyhun worked at a small firm where she focused her practice on probate administration and guardianships.
In 2012, Ms. Moneyhun established the Law Office of Marisa Moneyhun, LLC, dedicating her practice to assisting individuals and families with estate planning, trust and estate administration, and adult protective proceedings.
Marisa firmly believes that community involvement is a cornerstone of legal practice. She currently serves as the President of Oregon Women Lawyers (OWLS) and is actively engaged as a board member of the Oregon Women Lawyers Foundation. Additionally, she has contributed her expertise as a member of the Oregon Law Commission’s Probate Modernization Workgroup and previously served as Co-Chair of the Oregon Women Lawyers Leadership Committee. In 2018, Marisa was honored by her peers with election to the Oregon State Bar’s House of Delegates, representing them in this capacity for three years.
Kehoe Moneyhun Law, LLC is a combination of the family law practice Kehoe Law (formerly Osher Law) and the estate planning law practice The Law Office of Marisa Moneyhun.
