  • Lead trial counsel in a constructive fraud case, obtained jury verdict in contested trial for heirs of estate against executor in an amount in excess of $700,000 (Mazzurco v. Mazzurco, Alamance County Superior Court)
  • Lead trial counsel for general contractor in construction disputes involving several sites across North Carolina. Settled prior to trial.
  • Lead trial counsel in trade dress dispute involving furniture industry, obtained summary judgment prior to trial; argued case before the Fourth Circuit Court of Appeals (Ashley Furniture Industries, Inc. v. SanGiorgio NA, Ltd, 187 F.3d 363 (4th Cir. 1999))
  • Assistant trial counsel in a design patent dispute involving furniture designs (Victus Ltd. v. Collezione Europa USA, Inc. 26 F.Supp.2d 772 (MDNC 1998)
  • Lead counsel in case brought in the Middle District of Florida involving claim of patent infringement involving medical devices (settled during trial)
  • Lead trial counsel in business dispute involving contract, obtained jury verdit
