Firm Summary
I grew up in a small town in Ohio. It was there that my passion for business began. I spent the majority of my youth working at my father’s company: Allen Keith Construction. These were formative years — they showed me the struggles of entrepreneurship and how complex and daunting the law can be for business owners.
For my undergraduate degrees I attended The College of Charleston in South Carolina where I completed a degree in Political Science and another in International Studies. I then went on to graduate from Lewis & Clark Law in Portland, Oregon where I focused on business law and international business law.
I have experience working in the start-up world, with entrepreneurs and with non-profit founders. Before starting Hanlon Law, I refined my skills and gained experience of what challenges small businesses face by working in a start-up. I also have first hand experience of business law as I am a co-founder of a tech company myself.
Further, I am a licensed real estate agent in the state of Texas. From this I have gained knowledge in regards to real estate contracts, tax law and leases. I have previously taught a seminar on commercial leases and negotiation in Portland, Oregon.
