I, W. Scott Russell, grew up in Cincinnati, Ohio. After graduating from Archbishop McNicholas High School, I attended Xavier University where I obtained my Bachelor of Science Degree in three years. I then obtained my Juris Doctor Degree from the University of Dayton School of Law. While in law school, I was a law clerk for a prominent attorney in Dayton, Ohio.

After graduating from law school, I then returned to Cincinnati where I worked as an associate for a renowned law firm for six years. I then became a partner at a leading law firm in 2011. In 2016, I decided to open my own law firm, The Law Offices of W. Scott Russell, LLC. I had two associates, a paralegal, and a secretary. The Law Offices of W. Scott Russell, LLC became well-known in the community. In January 2021, I was sworn in as a Magistrate at the Warren County Court of Common Pleas, Division of Domestic Relations, where I currently preside over family law cases.

Since I was sworn in, The Law Offices of W. Scott Russell, LLC has still been operating, only I am a sole practitioner. Due to my position as a Magistrate, I am limited to what I am permitted to practice. I limit my practice to Mediation, Legal Document Preparation and Services, Estate Planning, Personal Injury, Business Law, and Real Estate Law. Because of my unique position as a Magistrate, I still have the time to treat every one of my clients’ individual needs in a timely manner with extraordinary ethics, compassion, and dependability. My experience as a private practitioner since 2004, and as a Magistrate since 2021, makes me the right attorney for you. I will happily talk with you over the phone, via Zoom, meet with you in person, and even travel anywhere in the State of Ohio to take care of your legal needs.

In my free time, I enjoy sports, traveling, all types of vehicles and, most of all, spending time with my family.
