She’s received national attention for her work, including an Advocacy Award from Autism Speaks, a national organization that provides advocacy and support for individuals with autism and their families.  In addition, Claudia has been instrumental in getting autism-friendly legislation passed in her home state of Vermont.

In addition to her advocacy work, Claudia is an avid volunteer. She has served as a board member and leader for disability advocacy organizations, business groups and a local newspaper.

Claudia is known not only for her advocacy and expertise, but also her approachability and ability to break down complex legal matters into easy-to-understand information. Her client-centered approach focuses on getting to know her clients’ unique needs and providing solid legal guidance to ensure that their wishes are honored and their loved ones taken care of.

Claudia is the author of Throwing a Life Saver without Going Overboard: Considering Alternatives to Guardianship, published in the Vermont Bar Journal in 2012.
